My brother and I recently spent some rare ‘bro time’ on a 4-day cruise aboard the Celebrity Reflection, filled with unforgettable experiences and cherished memories. From the moment we boarded, we were welcomed with warm smiles and top-notch service, setting the stage for an amazing trip.
Exploring Nassau

Our first port of call was Nassau, the vibrant capital of the Bahamas and a city steeped in history and culture. We spent the morning strolling through the local shops, picking up a few souvenirs, before heading to the beach. The highlight? Lunch at the Bikini Tiki restaurant, which is literally on the beach. We enjoyed mouthwatering jerk chicken with our toes buried in the warm sand beneath the table - a dining experience we won’t soon forget.

Next up was Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean’s exclusive private island. This tropical oasis offered plenty of ways to relax and play. The pristine beaches and abundant chaise lounges made it easy to unwind, while the soft sand and crystal-clear waters were irresistible. Although the island offers zip-lining and a water park for those seeking extra thrills, we opted for a more laid-back day exploring the shoreline. We got up close to dozens of small crabs on the rocks and even saw a sting ray glide by just inches from our ankles!

A true standout of the Celebrity Reflection was the dining experience. The ship’s wide variety of dining options ranged from casual bites to exquisite fine dining. Every meal was a culinary delight, with diverse menus that catered to all tastes. The quality of the food was consistently excellent. Special thanks to Pavan, our waiter, who not only provided top-notch service but also entertained the kids at our table with magic tricks.
Entertainment That Sparkles
Vibrant energy and captivating rhythms lit up the stage during the "Feel the Funk" show.
The entertainment on board was equally impressive. Each evening, we were treated to world-class performances, with the highlight being the "Feel the Funk" show featuring world-class singers and dancers. Other shows included husband-wife comedy magicians, a comedian, and a Broadway Musical Review. The ship also hosted a dance party every night, each with a different theme. We had a blast at the ABBA sing-along, learned new steps at the line dancing party, grooved to Latin music, and enjoyed the Shine On dance party on the pool deck, where everyone wore white or shiny clothes to sparkle under the full moon.
