He is thrilled to be transitioning into the travel industry at a time when (as recent empty nesters) he and his wife can really enjoy traveling together. Timm has been part of the travel industry since 1986, when he founded Terry Allen Travel Service Inc., a division of Terry Allen Plumbing & Heating Co., Inc. in Flint. In 2000, he merged Terry Allen Travel’s staff and clients into The Travel Brokers Inc., later assisting in the integration of two additional agencies into the company. Over time, Timm took on the role of Customer Relations and Industry Affairs, where he continues to serve clients with care and expertise.

Timm became a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) in 1991 and was named a Life Member of The Travel Institute (formerly the Institute of Certified Travel Agents) in 1993.
